First and Second Day of School

So the first day of school this year was also my first day of school of teaching at KidsEdge. Of course Carley was sick the first day so she stayed home. Madison is in the Lions class and I help teach the Giraffe's class (3 year olds). Carley will be in the Duckies class, not sure how this is going to go. I am really enjoying teaching but absolutely exhausted at the end of the day!

So the first day I only got a picture of Madison getting out of the car. BUT I made sure to get a picture of the two of us together on the second day. Madison has already made a wonderful friend. Also I am working with some of the most amazing women!! More pictures to come as the year continues.

Madison's 4th Birthday

Can you believe Madison is 4!!! I can't!! She is 35 lbs. and 39.5 inches tall!! She loves to play dress up, make obstacle courses in the playroom, play with play doh, and swing!! Her favorite princess is Ariel and 80% of the time she asks me to call her Ariel. She is the sweetest child but refuses to eat any vegetables!! She LOVES God, her friends and her family with all her heart! I love her to death!!!

Playing catch up!!

So I am way behind on the blog!! So I am going to include lots of random pictures from this summer!

Florida

So I am a little behind on posting lately, but we have been busy! Mid June we spent a week in Florida with the Blue/Berry/Wallace/Powell/Wolf family. We had a great time! One of Madison's favorite things was playing Wii games with Brittany, well actually anything with Brittany!

15 Month Check-Up

Carley had her 15 Month Check-Up this week and shots. She is growing like a weed and right on track developmentally. She is starting to say more words, or at least try to. Ball sounds more like BA, Sister is Sisser, and she is now signing for more.

We have another girly girl on our hands! This girl loves baby dolls, purses, and trying on my shows. Poor Cody!!!

We are having so much fun this summer! Check back soon for pictures from our upcoming Florida trip!

15 Month Stats: 20 lbs. (10%) 29 1/2 in. (20%)

Carley 14 Months

Carley is changing daily right now!! She is walking everywhere now, got another tooth (top left) and is "talking" all the time. She weighs about 19 1/2 pounds and is starting to get an attitude!!! She is vocal about what she likes and doesn't like. My sweet baby is gone and now I have a crazy child!!

Even big enough to ride the carousel now!!

Playing Catch Up!

So I am way behind on blogging!! So I am putting Easter, Mother's Day, last day of Mother's Day Out, and lots of pool time in one post!

The last two months has been very hard for the Blue/Wallace/Jackson family and I just wanted to say thank you for all the emails, calls, and cards. We are incredibly lucky to have such amazing friends and family!!

KidsEdge Mother's Day Out

Madison LOVES her school! Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Maurica and the BEST teachers! Madison prays for them every night and tells me she misses them on days she doesn't have school.

Today at chapel they learned about what Easter truly means. The teachers have skits, puppets, and crafts during chapel to help the children learn all about the bible. Just had to share these two crafts they did today.

The Easter Egg Story
1. Cracker & Cup 2. Coin 3. Rope 4. Thorn 5. Cross 6. Nail 7. Dice 8. Sponge
9. Cloth 10. Rock 11. Angel 12. Empty

The Jelly Bean Prayer
Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grave He gave.
Purple is for His hour of sorrow.
Pink is for a new tomorrow.
Colorful and sweet, Is a prayer, a promise, A loved one's treat!
Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Georgia

Thank you Northcutts!! Madison and I got to fly out to Georgia for some fun with some of our best friends! Mommy was just as excited as Madison to see Melanie, John, Ava & Jack. We went out to eat, shopping, went to the aquarium, and played all over the house! We have missed them so much and it was so nice to spend some time together.

Madison LOVED flying on the plane! She was perfect on the flight and loved looking out the window. The only thing she didn't understand is why we couldn't go into the cockpit to meet the pilot, this was while in flight. We are looking forward to seeing the Northcutt family again soon!
